Emily Orta is French and currently based in Venice. She is bilingual (French and English) and speaks Spanish. She is a recent graduate of Fashion Communication and Promotion from Nottingham Trent University, UK. Emily comes from a family of artists, she has always been curious and attracted to the visual world. She is passionate about contemporary art, design and photography. A self-taught photographer, she mainly uses black and white analogue photography, which she employs as a way of engaging with ideas surrounding temporality in contemporary society. She has undertaken a study abroad exchange in New York (Fashion Institute of Technology) where she focused on photographic development in the dark room. Emily has completed several internships in New York, London, Nottingham and Paris. She has served as an assistant stylist for Jane How and a photographer assistant at POP Magazine, as well as interning for Natori in fashion textiles and Backlit Gallery. Emily has recently designed and created her first ceramic collection which will be available soon on our website. At EVERYTHING I WANT, she manages our digital content, e- commerce platform, as well as creating editorial stories and doing photographic shoots.
